Intro to Clown February 15th and 16th 11-5pm
This workshop is for anyone looking to expand their approach to performance through clowning exercises.
Whether this is your first clown class or 20th, this will be useful for people at all performance levels and backgrounds, as no one can perfect the fundamentals.
We will focus on stage presence, connection with the audience, and exploring the absurd. The goal of this class is to start getting familiar with the part of you that makes people laugh til their head’s fall off (I’ve seen this happen at least 9 times).
This workshop will be a lot of fun and it will also be challenging. A lot of these exercises are designed for us to play with failure. There will be lots of failing involved. We are here to take risks on stage and embrace the results; whether it is failure or success.
